Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD) is the Learning Centre of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), the apex financial Institution in the area of agriculture and rural development in India. Over the years BIRD has gained national and international recognition as the premier institute of India for training, research and consultancy in the field of agriculture and rural banking. It operates from three campuses at Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Mangalore (Karnataka) and Bolpur (West Bengal). The Institute caters to the training needs of all the stake holders in related fields.
